I wanted to do a fresh install (or reformat my HDD) of Win XP Home Edition. The last time I reformatted it I had 7 CD's from HP made for my version of the computer, I think it was 522n or something.

Anyways, that one was trashed and rebuilt by the company who we puchased an extended warranty. I don't know what the hell they built, but it works well.

{Shortcut} They gave us a WIN XP Home Edition cd, and I think it has the product key on the computer. Is it possibe to just reinstall windows with this CD, (I have it installed already, but I want to reformat and start clean) even though it's installed?

    Thanks in advance.
