you can encrypt and decrypt text in the following formats:
• Blowfish
• IDEA
• DES
• TripleDES
• DESE
• CAST5
• Serpent 128, 192, 256
• Rijndael 128,192,256
• RC4
• Twofish
it can also encrypt+decrypt files in the same way! I didnt cre8 the algorithms. Rather, i created a prog which can harness the power of the freeware ebCrypt DLL

im thinking of turning the thing into vbscript so that everyone can use it...

comes with several extras, such as an ASCII password lengthener, and some HASH algorithms

im planning on making a small fikesharing service out of this (based on the forums)

i will elaborate on this later...

MODS: please move this to softwareworld by feb. 19, midnight on GMT if possible

I have the source code for an encryption program. The author offers a $1,000.00 cash reward to anyone who can crack an encrypted phrase generated from the code. It has been nearly 10 years, and nobody has claimed the prize yet.

DES-56, DESE and Serpent-128 became obsolete a long time ago.

How many rounds are of Blowfish are you using? I'm assuming it's the full 448.

IDEA has a nasty US- / Canada-only export control on it. (But we don't care, do we? )

CAST5 is unproven as of yet, the original CAST is still very strong.

Never heard of RC4.

Serpent, Twofish and AES up to 256 bits? Wow, that's hardcore.

PM me the link to a copy. I'd like to see it.
