My son wants to know if during this game you can get out of your car and run around killing people like you can on Grand Theft Auto?

I looked at a few pages w/ screenshots of the game, and in all you were inside a car

well i would think so since that was the big thing in driver 2 , getting out of the car that is, and u get a pistol in driver 3 (atleast a pistol i havent heard of any other weapons)
