LOL.. why didn't you say that to begin with?
If you already have a PC controller that's reasonably similar to a PS2 pad, theres no need for an adapter.
You can usually configure any PC controller (as long as it has enough buttons etc) within the emulator software.
I use a cruddy old Quickshot PC gamepad to play NES and Gameboy games on my PC, and it works perfectly.
Perhaps it's time you Googled for Visual Boy Advance, so you can see for yourself what emulated gaming is all about.
Visual Boy Advance will play all gameboy, GB Colour and GB Advance games.
It's very easy to set up and makes a great starting point for emu noobies.
