Strange Dat File Not Becoming An Avi

i downloaded an avi and it finshed downloading the file but never converted it into the avi file is there anyway i can do this convertion by my self because its been removed from kazza

emmm what do you mean its been removed from kazaa??

second right click the file and reanme it to .avi

example if your file was hulk.avi and now you see it as 125874216995.dat
right click that dat file choose rename and put hulk.avi

the name of it is kazaadownload-Private Penthouse - Call Girl.avi i dled it using a sig2dat link so there were no numbers and that file is named that and is still a .dat file
