Slow Speeds?

well it seems im only ever downloading a file at 16 kbs or below that amount which is pretty frustrating when im downloading a 560mb file im using abc client and have been downloading torrents etc for over a month. everybody else is saying there always getting speeds that are like 50+ kbs and there on the same speed broadband as me (600k broadband) so is it just me having my usuall luck or what

Have you set up your firewall and router for the ports 6881-6999, which bittorrent uses.

nope , dont have a router and i have sygate firewall pro

oh by the way, i also dont usually get great upload speeds either, my upload speeds are usuall 2 kbs faster 7 kbs max
