Thread: Get An Error Emssages While Running Win Update

    you say it worked once, what did you get then and what do you get now, is your system date and time correct, sometimes that cause it not to go to the page and get updates.

    I dont know I restarted it worked, installed some updates and they wanted a restart so I did now it dont work, yes my time and date are correct and it says it cant validate my cd key yet I downloaded sp1 with it

    if it&#39;s not a deathly emergency, order the cd for free here

    I have already changed my cd key about 6 times and I doubt the valid keys it lists are skill valid, all invalid.

    just curious but: why da **** you want them??? they dont really do anything usefull (except if you think hogging space on your HDD and slowing your comp down is usefull..........)

    get: SP1 and the major security hole fixes and your g2g...........

    it might be possible that you turned of the updates in services.msc or something like that (or have a great AV that sees microsoft stuf as a virus )

    are you sure you have a correctly working version of XP???? and if your key is blacklisted, you prolly couldnt even download the updates...........

    else get the XP from the verified section (works great&#33;&#33;&#33
    great FTP site for awesome quality video clips
    yeah, you have to sign up, but its worth it

    yes you have to have a valid key in there first
