    hi em the tmpgenc i was usin it and i got to the end it said the file was to big what do i do

    um, explain a little more plz but here goes

    ok when you encode to mpeg from avi its gunna make a bigger file

    lets say a 700meg avi will convert to a 1 gig mpeg file (VCD)
    (Svcd = 1.4gig) (DVD = 4gig)( this is aprox )

    ok now are you asking how to fit it on a cd, the answer is you cant you need to split it in to 2 cds, use something like easy video splitter to split the file in 2

    if you are ncoding for dvd the file will blow out to like 4 gig ( this is all to do with the bitrate and size you use )

    doom9 has some great tutorials for encoding go read a bit, its not all one click wonder when it comes to encoding

    ohh yeah im trying to put it on dvd but it says im over it, like its 139% and no matter how i adjust the bitrate and size, it onlygoes to a certain size and then stops and still to big

    before you start teh encode set the drop down box to 4.7 gig DVD it's default to 700 meg. CDR

    where is that at adster, i mean where im supposed to set the drop down box to 4.7 gig dvd, its default to 700 meg where is that all at, please explain more.
