    i have a range of numbers
    eg
    4
    5
    6
    5.5
    5
    2
    4

    whats is the formulea to tell me how many
    5s are in my data range?

    my little cuz needs help
    and i seem to have forgot how todo this one!

    just need to remember the math\equations

    wel i guess u better go to insert>functions and start searching for the one u want, im warning you now that there are a lot of functions to go through. i looked at a few of the common ones but it will take to long to do every single one so u can try.

    The formula is =COUNTIF(range,number ur looking for)

    eg. if ure lookin for 5 the formula is =COUNTIF(A1:A7,5)
