what is a PS2 BOOTDISC?
whats it for?
thanks.
A bootdisc is a disc used to boot non-sony (ns) games. It can be used to play backed up games or import games with a mod-chip or by other methods.
do u still have to use gameshark if you use a bootdisc? or does it replace gameshark?
i downloaded of bittorrent a bootdisc for ps2 in bin file. but it came with no instructions?
do i burn it and its ready to go?
I DONT HAVE A MOD CHIP? WILL IT STILL WORK?
THANK U
What is the name of the bootdisc you d/l?
FOUND IN: SUPERNOVA.COM
TORRENT NAME: PS2 BOOT CD
FILE NAME AFTER D/L: iph-bcdr.BIN
Some boot discs require the use of a mod-chip or they have to be used with AR, CB, or GS. I dont know what boot disc that is so i couldnt tell what all you would need. My advice is to try it out and if it works, let me know
That depends if it is a Cd boot disc or a dvd boot disc. I would start out with burning it on a sd-rw if you have any, if not then just use a cd-r (you're only gonna lose about 25-40 cents for the disc if it doesnt work) If that doesnt work try a dvd +/- rw. And unless you dont mind losing a dvd disc, then go ahead and try it with a dvd-r
EDIT: the file name looks like it is a cd boot disc though
lol... sorry i meant cd-rwOriginally posted by KARLOZ25@KAZAA@24 February 2004 - 14:52
