What Is Normal Download Speed With T1

I am using cogeco cable, a very fast isp provider.

According to their site, http://www.cogeco.ca/en/high-speed-internet-_o.html, my internet is up to 16mb/s down and up to 1mb/s up.

I've never ran tests, but when I use netants to download from fast uncapped sites I usually get 1.5mb/s down for game demos, patches, etc etc.

Whatever your speed, you would think that any download would have finished in the 3 years since this thread was started.
