The best way to go is to use a replacement program rather than running k-lite in wine.

KL won't work on Linux. Paul posted a tutorial on how to make K++ 2.10 work, but it was completely misleading BS.

Are you doing it in Kconfigure again?
Try doing it like this:
./configure
make
make install <--- as root
Hope it works

gIFT doesn't connect to FT anymore anyway... and gIFT-FastTrack rpms are not easy to find depending on your distro.
