what are you using?? rememvber your download speed depends on # of sources for your file and their upload speed

    my settings are:

    max sources per file: 100
scan for new shared files: 300
    constant PL: 1000
    Max search results: 200
    Max bandwith: unlimited

and when i try to put my max sources up anything above 100 is says my Operating System cannot support that much and says do you want to do this? what should i do?

change your scan for new files to like 3000

if the max bandwidth is for upload change it and put it at what your connection can handle

    and at last again remember:

your download speed depends on the # of sources for it and their upload speed, anddon't be fooled by whatyou see in the search window they are not an indication of who is available for connection so change supernodes to see if you get lucky, also use localized supernodes, also try changing ports, and lower your upload bandwidth, remove the no ip sources from your dat files and see if it helps

I'm on NTL 150 as well, and my speeds are about 15 to 20kbs (because I live in an area where the cables used to be controlled by Cable & Wireless, before they were taken over by NTL. For some reason, the speed in ex-C&W areas is always faster than in other areas, I remember reading that on an NTL forum.)

But the speed really depends on how many sources you have, and their upload speed
