I have an Antec file server, the Soho series, which is very similar to Bigdawg's dragon case. I like it alot, for the reasons he stated above, as well as removeable drive cages, which let you mount the drives easier, as well as get into the back corner where the wires come out of the front case. Helps me manage my wire hide.Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@29 February 2004 - 15:30
The chieftec case gives plenty of air access to the front fans and has exhaust places in the back...i love it!
All you have to do is pull the handle on the side pannel, and it just pulls off like a door...SO easy.
But indeed, the chieftec dragons, and my Antec Soho file server are all similar, and very nice.
And Comp USA has a nice selection of case that let you look at them in the store. The one I went too had a nice selection, a few Antec cases, and even a Lian Li one on the clearance rack, for 120 dollars.... lol
I will have a look tomorrow but could anyone recommend one from here http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...aA==&cat_uid=23

What is 'no PSU'? is that good or bad?Originally posted by ROSSCO_2004@1 March 2004 - 00:54

That means it comes with no Power supply, just the case.
I would buy this case.
Ck-Uk, I would take my case over yours anyday...looks more profesional and better, plus has slots in the front for air to get in..which clocker seems to like.

If i got that one, or a similar Chieftec, would i be able to get a window for it later?Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@1 March 2004 - 23:18

BTW thanks for all the help
Clocker doesn't care about "slots in the front for air to get in"...Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@1 March 2004 - 16:18

Clocker has a nose and it works fine, thank you.
Clocker's computer might appreciate them, though.
So might yours.
Edit: Marius...
There are generic window kits available both on-line and at places like CompUSA.
Also, a little research may turn up Cheiftec cases with windows you like...the panels should be available separately.

well you said some cases allow for no air in the front..ive heard you say it before..and the chieftec ones have nice slots and stuff so air comes in easily...i really love this case, and will go with cheiftec for my next case probably
Here you can buy clear side pannels...$22 though...cheaper to buy it with it in the first place.
Or at the bottom of the ebuyer page here, you can buy some
