    Yes VB we have.

I am just stating what you said in a different way, and in my opinion, in hopes he will take my advice as well.

The different way is that it's a known issue with that board.

You know what I think the problem is?

Call it a long shot, but I think his motherboard is reporting the temperatures wrong.

    You could be right Lamsey.

On the other hand, maybe the board is reporting the wrong temps.

Actually, I'm surprised that VB didn't catch this....

    hm...those temps seem right..wierd

that would show that the board is NOT reporting the wrong temps..

The only person dumb enough to say the board isnt reporting the right temps would be VB...well nvm..he aint even that dumb.. haha

try actually feeling the heatsync and if it feels extremely hot then its higher than 30 but if its not too hot, with the air going by its actually just warm then it is probably around 30.

before i thought u meant that u used the same heatsync from teh 2000 processor for the 2500 and didnt put new thermal paste on but it was a new heatsync and new thermal paste right?

btw, dont try to put the 2500 back in now until you have gotten some arctic silver as once it has been removed it wont have as good of a contact and will run a llot higher.
