Photoshop 7.0 Problem.

Hey, Ummm


I just tried to open a Pic in photoshop like normal and it starts to load up then i get an error saying my key is expired.

Did they expire all the keygen keys or something ? Because I got 7.0 like a year ago and installed it with a keygen.


If i reinstall with another keygen key will it also be expired ?

You know, while everyone's downloading all this new Adobe shit, you should really be aware that Adobe has it's own spyware enabled on ALL of it's products (with the possible exception of Streamline, which hasn't been updated in decades ).

And what aom.exe are they referring to?

I do not see that in my \Adobe\web folder

That storie's bullshit. It's been posted sooo many times before and I've never seen that file in any adobe photoshop installation . It does NOT call home!

I'd bet that relates to acrobat reader or something which use an encryption key. That might possibly need to call home.

Well, I just searched my PC for AOM.exe and its not anywhere.

Fixed my problem.. I went into regedit and found my photoshop key. Then i generated a key with the keygen and replaced it.

PS loaded up no problem. Then I went into my firewall to look for any adobe programs accessing the net. I saw adobe download manager and I blocked its access. Hopefully it will work ok now.
