Thread: K-lite Codec Pack V2.24 Full Problem

  1. #1
I have a problem with the new codec pack, when I had the v2.20 full I had no problem with playback of Xvid movies in WMP9 now with this new version it causes a general error. Can this be forwarded to the makers of the K-Lite Codec Pack?

You could try to change the XviD postprocessing settings.

Disable Debocking (Y) en Deblocking (UV).

That way it will use less cpu power.

OK fixed it all I had to do was uninstall v2.20 and restart the PC THEN install v2.24 but now iam having a problem where if I have a movie thats split in half (from mIRC) eg S.W.A.T cd 1 & 2 I can play the first cd but it gives me an error message when I try to play the 2nd cd (doesnt really bother me to much cos I have a DivX player for the TV its just that it's a bit annoying)

I read though this forums and was eeing alot about people having problems with the new codec pack (v2.25) and was wondering if any one else was having problems playing Xvid's and DivX's in WMP9?
