when i try to put a film on VCD it says it wont fit on the cd but my cousin can put films on CVD's what am i doing wrong?

how big is the file?
you may need to split it into 2 parts?

how do u split the file in 2?
You shouldnt have probs with them size files mate but you could enable overburn and try.
File ,preferences ,expert settings ,overburn.
What's the capacity of the CDs?
