    my mobo can boot from the standard
    • hard drive
    • optical
    • floppy drive
    • LAN Boot

    but it can also boot from .
    • zip drive
    • USB Flash drive
    • USB Optical
    • USB Hard Drive
    • USB Floppy
    • Firewire LAN boot

    but im not done yet:
    • USB Digital Camcorder
    • Firewire digital camcorder
    • disk-on-chip
    • the internet (WHAT THE FUCK???)
    • lastly: an IR port (PDA, Laptop...)



    is it just me or did i miss a shitload of technological advancements?

    btw: anything beyond standard floppy, standard HDD, and standard optical, i did not test yet

    I'm just thankful everytime my board boots from the HDD and (infrequently) the CD-ROM.

    how do you setup a network boot? i have a network now so i wanna try it out, how does it read the os on a server or whatever else i put it on?

    well when i boot it says press f12 for network boot, but what will it boot if i press that? will it just read teh operating system on my other computer?
