    i just switched from dial to cable,is there anything special i have to do to speed up my downloads

    your download speed depends on the # of sources for it and their upload speed, anddon't be fooled by whatyou see in the search window they are not an indication of who is available for connection so change supernodes to see if you get lucky, also use localized supernodes, also try changing ports, and lower your upload bandwidth,remove the no ip sources from your dat files and see if it helps

    np boss also make sure you set you download/upload speeds right and don't max them out

    go here and test your speed

    then run the wizard and set them accordingly.

    also under uptions check your settings and make sure upload and download are not set to max set download close to max and upload to what ever is comfortable for your connection

    If you have "fast cable" (1.5mb/s or above), use the K++ built in accelerator to search for new sources.
