New Cashpoint Instructions
Please note that with the arrival of the new “Drive Through” cashpoint machines, customers will be able to withdraw cash without leaving their vehicles. To assist users in using this new facility the following procedures have been recommended:
MALE USERS:
1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Wind down window.
3. Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
4. Enter amount of cash required.
5. Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
6. Wind up window.
7. Drive away.
FEMALE USERS:
1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Back-up the required amount to align car window with machine.
3. Restart stalled engine.
4. Wind down window.
5. Find handbag, remove all contents on to passenger seat and locate card.
6. Locate make-up bag and check make-up in rear-view mirror.
7. Attempt to insert card into the machine.
8. Open car door to allow access to machine due to excessive distance from car.
9. Insert card.
10. Push card in again.
11. Remove card.
12. Insert card right way up.
13. Sort through contents of handbag to find diary with PIN number written in.
14. Enter PIN.
15. Re-enter correct PIN.
16. Retrieve cash and receipt.
17. Empty handbag again to find purse to put cash in.
18. Drive forward 10 feet.
19. Reverse 10 feet.
20. Retrieve card.
21. Re-check make-up.
22. Re-start stalled engine and drive away.
23. Drive for 3 to 4 miles.
24. Release handbrake.
