hi, where is the disk deframentoer stored on my pc, it isnt listed in my system tools and i have to go to help and support to find it. i have even done a search for it but it only shows up in my help and support. i am using win xp

Disk Defragmenter is part of windows and cannot be uninstalled

You will find the disk defragmenter in the system32 folder, which is in the windows folder on the main hard drive (C: in most cases) ...
and look for a file called dfrg.msc

thats where that guy is
been lookin for him

found it, thank you. im not bothered if its fast or slow, i just leave it on when i go to bed anyway.

or another way to find it is to right click my computer>click manage> then on the left side it says disk defragmentor. If you get diskeeper which i recomend you do, then you can also use it the same way, or use teh shortcut it makes in your start menu.
