I have a Maxtor 300LE external hard drive. It's connected through USB2 and has it's own power supply. Is there any way of getting that hard drive to power down after some period of inactivity?

I think (but not sure) that some sort of power management software came with the installation CD but I've no idea where that is and I can't seem to find it for download anywhere.

Thing is I want the internal HDD to stay on because I'm usually downloading overnight, but the external is doing nothing (except make an annoying noise).
