    Is it 5.1 or 6.1?

Just to give you an example, my mobo (which has 5.1....C-Media 8738MX 6-channel audio + SPDIF out.), comes with an SPDIF Bracket, from which I can connect digital audio output.

Did your board include something extra such as mine?

How does my onboard sound work though? I only have 3 connectors...
The satellites will plug into the back of your sub, your sub plugs into one of them sockets.

The other 2 are probably microphone and spdif out or something.

You should have gone for the Deluxe board, you get another 2 connectors (+SPDIF) and a Dolby sound processor.

But you can configure one or both of the line in and microphone sockets as outputs though.

The Z-640s are nice and I think if I get some I will go with those.

I could just save the $65 and save that up for a good subwoofer...that would buy bought half of one lol...for the tahoe.

just my opionin... but 5.1 speakers are kinda worthless.. idk, but anything more then a 2.1 system is overkill for a computer, even if your watching dvds on it. 2.1 is perfectly fine. but if your going 5.1 those logitech ones you posted look nice. id go with the 2.1 cyber acoustics system you posted earlier tho, my dad has them and there fricken loud, and the bass is really good to. they work great.
