All this while I've been using DK Firewall Boost with K-Lite to connect. But suddenly it stopped working yesterday, unable to connect at all.

No I'm in a flat, which I think the internet connection is connect via a router or something, because I could see other ppls computers in My Network Places.

in that case the main pc's firewall needs to be configed or the port for klite needs to be forwarded

Other programs such as ICQ and MSN Messenger works fine.

yes because they use different ports, you need the admin of the main pc allow klite or open ports etc.

Your admin's probably disabled port 1214 inbound. Change your KL settings to use a high, non-priveleged port. Something above 8500 should work.
