Thread: Sim Card Registration Failed

    ok i got this 3410 ages ago and its on o2 brand new in the box

    so i go off to register it and get my 2 50 credit.

    after a day or two later it goes sim card registration failed and the phone wont work!!!!


    no matter what chip i use i get the same message

    the phone isnt stolen or anything it was brand new

    i dont even know the number of the phone so i cant ring techinacal support and now im left with a useless phone and a useless chip which works on other phones except mine .......


    anyone know how to solve this sim card registration failed message??

    look behind the battery for the number for costomer service or jus trade it in for a new 1??

    under battery is the iemi number (serial)

    no it should have either a 1800 # or a business #

    I don&#39;t know how long you have had that phone but it is SIM-locked. If you have had it for a year, you can ask O2 for the code to remove the SIM-lock, then it costs you nothing (except for some administration costs)...Then you will be able to use it on any network. You could try contacting customer services for the correct procedure....It is also possible to have the SIM-lock removed through some computer software...you will need a special CD-Rom. You could try googling for that information....
