Thread: Overclocking More!

  1. #1
im getting decently low temps (sig). and my memory isnt giving me any errors. so i figured id push it more (remember i have 166mhz ram rated at 3-4-4-8 running at 200mhz 2.5-3-3-11) so i upped the d-ram voltage, gave my processor an extra .5 volts and raised the memory to 210mhz. running stable as a rock currently. im gonna let SETI run for another 10-15 minets to make sure it stable. then im gonna up the memory to 215mhz and run SETI for 15-30 minets, and maybe even run 3dmark01 for 2-3 loops. idk.. ill keep ya'all posted.

wouldnt boot at 215mhz with my memory, and im not gonna run me memory and fsb out os sync, so 210mhz is my limit. but i back it down to 200mhz, and dropped my processor voltage back to default. the processor was only getting 1 degree C hotter under full load at 2.4ghz. then it is now at 2.2ghz. but im leaving it here. ill have to save up money this summer and get myself ahold of some pc4000 memory. probably mushkin 222 special 256mb sticks and run them in dual channel.

well the memory is only rated for 166mhz, and ive got it at 200. i dont like stressing it to much further then that, so im just going to leave it at 200. and i have the 9600 at 9600 pro speeds. i know its kinda hard to read.. ill get around to makin a new sig one of these days.

maybe im just paranoid, but im gonna leave the memory/fsb at 200. i still wish it would have been stable at 215, i was hoping to hit 220 and it still be stable, but i didnt make it.
