My Windows XP CD exploded in my cd drive and I had to download a copy of XP. The problem is that its a NRG file and I don't know what to do with it. How do u burn this kind of file on a CD?

Look in the verified section of softwareworld.
It's posted there somewhere,or download the trial-version and find yourself a crack for it.

Did you think I was kidding? If you have a fast drive (52X or above) and you put in a cracked CD, the extreme stress will cause the CD to shatter. When it happened to me, it blew the goddamn thing right off the rails.
