P2p Programs Won't Run

has anyone experianced this problem....i installed KLite, Kazaa, Overnet, Ares, Bulbster and all of them didnt work. it said it

"Overnet.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will neeed to restart the program."

the weird thing is that it says that error for every P2P program i try.

Maybe they are trying to block filesharing programs?
Are you a home-user or trying to use it at college or something?

windows 2000, im at home and this has never happened before...i just decided to dl a song one day and i turned on ares, it didnt work and i thought the version expired. i tried my Kazaa and it didnt work(same error though). so i dl overnet, and blubster and same problem
