Thread: Need Help!

    i reelly need help...

    im currently in a university hall or dorms..watever u wana call it..

    n we are connected through some main service in the building which is regulated by some ppl from the uni iteslf..

    so im behind a firewall...n bittorrent doesnt work...
    i read alot about chaning ports n i duno wat...but im still lost...i dunt know alot about computers so i need help plz...i have windows xp...n when i wana download smth from bittorrent...it just remains on trying to connect n it times out after a while...hte circle thing remains black...n i have the shadow experimental bittorrent client program...

    first of all HOW DO I GET IT TO WORK?

    secondly IF ITS ABOUT PORTS THEN HOW DO I CHG PORTS

    lol, good luck finding a hole in a uni firewall , i think the only program that can even get close is overnet, but not sure

    see your uni doesnt want you and all the rest there swamping their bandwidth downloading movies and games ect, i suggest you get your own adsl so you aint controled by the uni's rules and fiewalls

    If they're blocking ports mate you could try something like port tunnel ,redirect through to another port.,or sockscap.,just have a search on google for proxies ,sockscap...etc
