    Dont diss the MX440. 310 core, stable, UT2004, medium detail, 1024x768, 30fps. Just .

    Playable though.

    Cant beleive you screwed a 9700 pro, I would love one of those suckers right now .

    why? they have no way of knowing he overclocked, there isnt a way to prove he knows what overclocking is.

    Yeah... for sure its overclocking it.
    I never overclock graphics card the first time its dope, but for a year or 2 the preformance will be all sluggish and burn out.

    That is why you need ALOT of cool air around your graphics card if you decide your overclocking it. I have 2 fans around my graphics card 1 from the graphics card + heatsink, and one from the side of the case fan.

    Many companies and computer stores are strict when returning overclocked video cards, its not in there Terms of Agreement / Warranty. Hope they don't notice that you overclocked your graphics card.

    Hey, if newegg takes it back, you are stoked! However, if you happened to remove the that strange thermal pad that came with all 9700 Pro's, they just might notice. I surely would hope that you can get either your money back or a 9800 Pro!

    I didnt remove anything or get the heatsink off or tamper with the car much...so I think it will be ok...I just dont know if I RMA it after 3 months or take it back to the oem
