    Hey what is the best CPU heatsink? for a socket A CPU (2800+)
    I am looking at these 2:

    which one is better, or is there one better then both of these?
    any opinions on the best?

    the stock one is good, bigdawg and many others on this board have gotten their cpu's overclocked very high with the stock heatsync and they have great temps too.

    a thermaltake volcano 11+
    or
    a this
    is the second one worth the extra money or is a volcano 11 good?

    arent the volcano 11's really loud? the second one looks like its really good but im not sure for sure, but if teh volcano is loud id probably go with the second.

    I read a review on some site that said the aerocool one wasnt that good.

    As for the Volcano 11+, its not that loud once you remove the stupid silver fanguard. Sure, you can hear it on full aperature, but it is a 4800RPM fan.

    I've been reading some reviews on the Volcano 11+ and they seem to be mixed
    here are a few I've seen
    Overclockers Café
    this rates it very good

    Motherboards.org
    they say it is OK
    most of all the reviews I see say it is very loud at full speeds, and the temps aren't that great at low speeds...

    Alright, I found a really nice looking/good performance/supposedly quiet heat sink that has some really good reviews!
    the Gigabyte 3D CPU Cooler
