    so this is it!! i have fiddled around with the ports to try get me out of Low ID, but it never works!! this means im downloading slower, getting through the queue slower... PLEASE give me a step by step guide to get out of this damn Low ID!!! :'(

    if your using XP make sure the windows firewall is OFF.
    That's what got me my high ID

    start -> control panel -> network connections -> local area connection (right click -> properties) -> click advanced tab -> make sure the checkbox isn&#39;t checked.

    hope that helps. someone posted a good thread about servers, and some servers mistakenly give you lowid. i&#39;ve noticed that when my internet connection was very slow (with my recently former isp), it would also say lowid, and i&#39;d have to keep typing retest on edonkey to get it open again.

    oh well you know, i got over that damn virus i had, and i saw that eMule had a lot more non-fake files than kaza, so i started using it again

    by the way: turning off the windows firewall really did work, thanks

    ive got Overnet... im going to give overnet a go when i find a file i want, and ill see for myself which programme works faster for me
