    can i just use alcohol 120 to copy a protected dvd such as a rental?
    or do i need to use anydvd first?
    if i do what file types do i get? and how do i use alcohol to make the copy?

    use DVDshrink or DVDxcopy express

    yep dvd shrink with nero 6 incorperate will let you rip and burn a dvd movie rental to a blank dvdr all in one go and it works great
