Well whisky in Glasgow may not have an E in it, but whisky in Liverpool...Originally posted by Lamsey@18 March 2004 - 17:50
It might well do... but:
[Lamsey] WHISKY DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING E IN IT <-- is an entirely valid statement
Seriously, I believe the word's another victim of regional spelling - Like colour/color and centre/center
My reasoning is simple.
Scottish (Not scotch, that word is just a bad joke) Single Malt is the only true whisky, anything else is just kidding itself on.
Hence, whisky doesn't have an E in it.
At a more literal level "whisky doesn't have an 'e' in it" is undeniably true. There is no 'e' in 'whisky'. Whether there is an 'e' in 'whiskey' is neither here nor there

We invented it, we called it "whisky"
Live with it
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.
