    I am running Windows XP, P4, IE6 with 128 bit encryption. I connect through 512Kbps broadband.
    I have 2 PC's networked with a x-over cable. On the client PC (the one without a direct connection to the internet) can access secure sites with no problem. The host (with direct connection to broadband) does not connect. I get the standard cannot find server message.
    I have already google'd this and nothing worked. I checked the settings of client and host and they are the same.

    I also tried to download updates from Microsoft's site, and when i try to intall it, it says that it has not passed Windows logo testing to verify compatibility with Windows XP.
