Thread: Screen Ever So Slightly Flickering...

    On the corner of my screen on the right the screen is ever so slightly flickering not so much for me to notice but it's rather worrying I've only just noticed it so I don't know how long it's been like it.
    Does this mean my vid card is on it's way out?
    I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

    It's a standard 17" CRT monitor.
    I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

    Have you Oc'ed your vid card at all?

    WTF I moved my speakers away from the PC screen and it stopped how can speakers make a screen flicker?
    I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

    not sure, but i'd be happy if i were you!
    moving your speakers is a lot cheaper then buying a new monitor or vid card!!

    Your speakers aren't magnetically sheilded enough.

    ya, theres probally a magnetic force between the moniter and the speakers. learned that when i put a magnet on my lcd screen. ya i had 2 get a new screen
