Thread: 2 Video Cards

    Would it boost performance if you had to video cards in your system? Like 1 psi and 1 agp... or 2 apg if thats possible.
    Need a cheap/easy way of modding your xbox? Check this out.

    the computer would only render graphx through one of them, i don't think u can select both in bios, just pci or agp

    the only benefit of having two would be that you can plug in two monitors to the computer...or 2 monitor and 2 tv's. With two monitors you could play your game on one of them and have msn messenger, and website, email etc on your other screen as you play. no performance boost.

    so both graphx cards can be used simultaneously? i thought u set which card to use (pci or agp in bios)

    no you couls use both at once in most cases. some video cards dont like to be paired up with certain other video cards...in which case i think only the agp card would work, or if they were both pci then im not sure what would happen. its usually a good idea to pair up two cards by the same company (ie nvidia and nvidia, or ati and ati) or better yet with the same GPU.
