What Is Happening

What is happening to the Lounge in recent weeks. Around 9-11 each night, in my area, it virtually grinds to a stop, speed wise. There are less people posting than ever I can remember, so that is not the reason.

It is also grinding to a stop, posting wise. Around 10.30 last night no one posted in the Lounge for almost half an hour. Unheard of.

When I tried to post it took me three attempts to make a normal post. I was stopped by anti-spam. Yet no one else was posting?

I eventually just switched off and watched a movie. Are other members doing the same.

Can something not be done about this? Or is this the beginning of the end?

I've noticed this as well, the speed of the board at night, it does seem to slow down somewhat and this new anti-spam thing is a bit of a nuisance at times. (Though infinitely preferrable to what the admin had in mind at first).

Hopefully these problems can be ironed out.

That random, random thingymajig, JP. It often prevents you from posting normal posts and it takes as many as three attempts to make your post. Introduced by admin, I think, to prevent spamming.

yeah the anti spam thing is crap!!!

and yeah well obviously I'm a day ahead of US and Europe but I find the board is dead about my time all inthe afternoon

As you can see as above was a piece of piss
