Marius, I think we have your problem here.Originally posted by Marius24@25 March 2004 - 23:31
1 that came with my new case (side intake fan)
By inserting air directly to the CPU, you create a short circuit.
The air goes through your CPU heatsink, and most of it disapears into the PSU inlet and gets expelled.
The volume of air removed by PSU will almost be equal to the volume of air inserted by the case fan in the side panel.
This way the air in the bottom half isn't refreshed, and gets heated more and more.
Is there a way to lower the RPM of the case fan?
If so, try to set it as low as possible.
Then add a low revving fan in the front of your case (low down)
Edit: corrected typo
i kinda got a headache so i was thinking properly, no i meant temperatures lol. i cant beleive i mixed them up lol sorry 'bout that. u mean that?Code:VCORE : 1.74V +12V : 11.98V +3.3V : 3.38V +5V : 5.11V VIN2 : 15.50V +5VSB: 5.03V VBAT : 2.02V
Nice Voltages.
Dont know what that VIN2 is, but the rest look fine, nice 12V line, 11.98....
Also, as for the 39C temperature, thats usually your Case temp, but if thats the case then you have a very hot case, and need better fan management. My case is 29C right now....
my mum is ordering me 4 case fans over the weekend to go with the case window and lights im getting
Can you get us a picture of your case?Originally posted by Marius24@25 March 2004 - 20:21

So we can help you assess proper placement, and orientation of them.
i have a Chieftec Dragon DX-01 Silver ATX Case
it has 2 fan spaces at the front and 2 at the back. The one at the side I have running

its actually good, because the voltages usually arent exactly right on what they are supposed to be. being only .02 off is actually really good.
cool
so would a few case fans cool my case down abit? I currently only have my psu putting out alittle air
yes it will bring the temps WAY down.Originally posted by Marius24@26 March 2004 - 18:20
