Text Effects With Fireworks

does anyone know how to make good text effects with fireworks? i been having it installed for sometime and i fell like it is time to find it more useful.

To be honest you'd be better getting yourself photoshop and visiting good-tutorials.com.
Suppose your right mate .. but id have posted this in graphic design. B)

well more or less... (but this is indeed fireworks tutorials request )

but anyway i'm too lazy to install photoshop and the thing is,i wouldn't know were to download it,just because there are a lot of different versions,etc.

This sort of thing does belong in Graphic Design. Thats why that world was created. However, if you had issues with the software i.e. installing, errors on certain things then SoftwareWorld works best.

I dont care about all this that much, important thing is the question.

Now coming back to topic:

What you are looking for is firework plugins. Do a search on fireworks plugins download. I am sure you will end up with much more results than you had before. I have tons of them and am pretty sure I got them after googling

however i saw on a magazine some ways to create text effects combining layers and some more other things,i just though that someone could know a little more about it
