but barely got this update offered maybe a couple of weeks ago
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.
nope, when i do reinstalls i always disconnect my network cable to prevent hacks and viruses such as that blaster virus, first i do all the performance tweaks which include turning off automatic updates, then i install sp1 which i have on a cd...then i hook up the internet and download any updates released after sp1. i never install the driver updates because they are always old versions of my hardware drivers and i like having the latest versions...and ive never noticed the cpu update before.Originally posted by Virtualbody1234@26 March 2004 - 17:01

Could it be that the CPU driver update is included with SP1?
Because I remember seeing that update a looong time ago.
Don't think so...I've recently done a format and reinstall of XP Home, installed SP1 and that particular CPU update is still showing up wt the windows update site...Originally posted by Virtualbody1234@26 March 2004 - 21:16

On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.
