    How can reorder what starts up first on windows start up.

    Why ? I don't think you can. Try msconfig selective startup ?

    I think, that this is the order:

    The startup entries in

    "HKLM/Software/Microsft/Windows/currentversion/run"

    then

    "common startup"

    then

    "startup" <--- the folder on your start menu

    if that helps

    Don&#39;t if you can reorder your startup programs. But I&#39;ve seen programs that set a delay on selected programs. So your computer boots faster. Was looking couldn&#39;t find it though.

    I find if I just disable most startup programs then lauch from start menu works fine. I think i have 5 or less norton, zonealarm and webshots come to mind.

    type msconfig in the tun bar, and =choose selective startup
