  1. #1
Yes , I love my Winamp.
Been using it since version 2.
    2 & 3 worked perfectly for me.
    But not 5.0 , 5.1 , 5.2
    Problem - video playback
I have a lot of music videos (30-60MB) each.
It does not matter if they're in .dat or .mpeg format , same problem
The audio of it is perfect for the video!
But the video part of it stops & starts constantly.
Maybe for a quarter of a second every 2 or 3 seconds ???????

    Any solutions ???
Any one having the same problems ????
I'm using the default installation skin.
No problems when i was running version 3 with MMD skin !

Yes i could notify winamp.com with the problem & wait for version6

    But i think Winamp3 here i come again !!!!!!!
    Yes & i use the "Enhancer 0.17" for its plugin DSP/effect !

Can't help you on this one, cos I use WMP for video.
There isn't a bargepole long enough for me to work on [a Sony Viao] - clocker 2008

I have been having some problems playing music videos in Winamp 5.03
The picture stops & starts fractionally.
    I've finally figured out why?
My computer is too crappy for Winamp 5
    It's a Pentium3 866Mhz with a Asus GForce2-32Mb graphic board
Videos are fine with WMP9 but not with Winamp5 with the modern skins with display properties of 32bit.
Videos run fine in 32bit with classic skins OR 16bit with modern skins.

    The question ????????
How much would by using display properties of 16bit affect the quality of watching videos & playing games ???
    Or
Would i be better of using 32bit & "suck it" with classic skins (i hate the look & feel of classic skins).

Getting a new graphic card is not the correct answer please !!
or using another program (I love my Winamp&#33
    any suggestions appreciated !
