I have just entered my last day as a non old age pensioner. I refuse to go any further. I am going to throw myself off the building now. OK so the top step is only 18" above the ground. But that is a lot for somebody my age.
Is there no going back?

You have my every sympathy. As of tomorrow Her Britannic Majesty's Government will transfer money to you on a regular basis, with little or no effort on your part.

One wonder how you will cope with this tragic scenario.

Enjoy old bean.

Live long in Possil.

Screw that idea man...
You paid, now you get to play!
I say you collect that cash you got comin, and blow it on booze, dope, and scandalous women...
Don't worry.. I won't tell

HOWEVER

Here in good old Toronto, Ontario it looks as though pension will be gone by the time I qualify to collect it...
This makes me wonder WHY THE HELL AM I PAYING INTO IT?
Apparently all people who are paying into the Canada Pension Plan at present are financing the payouts AT PRESENT.
I need a good stiff belt of something with an ungodly alcohol content....
Actually Im lying..
I dont drink much...
I'll take a foot long weed hoagie instead....

Cheers though Boab, you earned it!

There's no 'I' in 'team'. But then there's no 'I' in 'useless smug colleague', either.
And there's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. Go figure.

I'd say another Rubicon is in order, BB.

Thank you very much Squeeky. I was nearly lost for words there. But I will find them in time.
