Burn An Audio Cd With A Video Clip?

I downloaded a cd off the internet and it came with a video clip. Is there a way i can burn the songs to a cd with the video clip and still be able to listen to the audio cd on my normal cd player?

The songs are im mp3 format.

I think it depends on can your CD player play mixed format cd's.
Some players support a lot of different formats, like mp3's etc..

Try burn them as Mixed format in Nero etc, then try it out.
Also, i think the mp3's will be converted to wav files, not sure tho...

when burning with nero i get the error message some files could not be added (the .avi video file) should this be happening?

The .avi file probably has compressed audio(i.e. mp3).

If so, this would require you to re-encode the video and uncompress the audio portion in it.

Not quite sure though.

Maybe others will chime in.

make a "mixed mode" cd. e.g audio/data cd. There should no problem if the video is not that big.

many new cd players can play cdr's burned in data format, if yours can you won't need to burn the disc as audio, just convert the mp3 music files to WAV and burn then with the avi as a data disc.

WARNING: Your player must be able to support cdr's in this format otherwise it won't work.

Use virtualDub to split your .avi file into two seperate files.
You will get an .avi with no sound and a .wav file.
If you want to convert your .wav file into mp3,just use an audio converting tool(for example: complete audio converter lite).

You should then get an mp3 file of the sound from your .avi clip.
