Thread: Windows Is Shutting Down

    everytime i try to shutdown my comp (reboot works fine) it says shutting down windows and it stays like that for about 15 min and then shutsdown. im pretty sure it happened after i installed norton antivirus 2003 but i tried uninstaling it and it still happens

    happens to me sometimes...

    ya i know it's bitch but then i rarely turn off my computer

    It's possible that Windows is set to delete cache/swapfile when shutting down, which can take a while to do if your drives are not defragged often and you don't have much free space. Someone would have had to have turned this feature on, though.
