Thread: -simple Question-

1. #1
I have 2 questions, but for now just one:

I have Windows XP Home and so does my friend, but he has a option under Hewlett-Packert to take a picture of what ever is on the screen. And I don't have that option...

So what program can I use to take a picture of my screen?

The other question is a error message (configuration warning: invalid character at startup) im getting when i try to open Netscape 7.0.
There is more to that error msg. but I cant catch it all, thats why I need the program that takes a screenshot of my desktop.

THANKS in ADVANCE

Try Mozilla as a Shitscape replacement.

Or firefox.

Aohell owns Netscape I think. I did not think Netscape was still in development. I mean the version you have was the last if I am not mistaken.

Mozilla is no longer a part of Netscape anymore they have their own organization. The Mozilla Foundation.

Firefox is an extremely lightweight web browser and fully customizable with add-ons like extentions.

Mozilla sure looks like netscape if you applay the "Modern" theme but it's 10 times better. If your used to using Netscape then Mozilla would be a good replacement for you.

Firefox can be downloaded from Mozilla's website at the link I posted above. It is a lot faster than Mozilla as well.

Well, The Reason I Liked Netscape Is Because I HATE Internet Explorer!
-I will try mozilla-firefox...
How many things do I have to download and install? Just one?
Thanks....

HoverSnap
Excellent, free, no install. Perfect for desktop screencaps.

Netscape, eh? I don't like Netscape myself. I'm afraid all I can do is suggest another browser. Mozilla, and Firefox are made by Netscape, but I feel they are more capable. However my favorite is MyIE2

Just one Direct download

You can get as many extentions as you want. They add more functionality to the browser.

@xero-grid -- that is no longer true. Mozilla created it's own foundation apart from netscape in 2003. You can check Mozilla's site or google to confirm this.
