    What is the MP3 DataBase Suite?

    The MP3 DataBase Suite is a suite of programs that will help you organize your MP3-files.
    At the moment this suite consists of 8 programs:
    - the MP3 DataBase program (This is the main program)
    - the MP3 File Corrector
    - the MP3 Player
    - the MP3 DataBase CD Inlay Printer
    - the MP3 DataBase Report Printer
    - the MP3 Tag Editor
    - the MP3 DataBase Tweak Program
    - and the Extended DataBase Info program

    The latest version of the MP3 DataBase Suite is v1.5

    Future additions will be a "MP3 Explorer" program.

    The MP3 DataBase Program

    The MP3 DataBase Program is the main program and is used to create, update and use MP3-File information you import into the database. It will help you organize your MP3-files and will assist you in filtering out any doubles if you download new MP3 files.

    It uses a fully adjustable fuzzy logic compare algorithm that will detect a double, even if the name in the database is slightly different. For example:

    or (if you spelled it wrong)
    the Allen Parsons Project

    The MP3 File Corrector

    The MP3 File Corrector can be used for renaming files you've downloaded from the internet into acceptable readable filenames. If you rename the files correctly, importing these files into the database will be very easy.

    The program contains the following features:
    - include subdirs
    - use MP3 tags for filename
    - pre and after string
    - ignore strings or characters
    - custom replace strings
    - auto convert certain characters into spaces (%20,_ etc)
    - Auto delete a number or characters at the beginning or end
    - undo option
    - option for a log-file

    The MP3 DataBase CD-Inlay Printer

    Most users of the MP3 DataBase suite have large collections of MP3-files and use CD's to store these MP3's. With the MP3 DataBase CD-Inlay Printer, you can print cover inlays of these MP3 CD's. The program uses the MP3 Volume/disks stored in the database.

    The program contains the following features:
    - uses the volume/disks from the DataBase
    - fonts, colors and sizes are customizable
    - a print preview is available
    - custom SQL statements can be used
    - an optional cover bitmap

    If you want to print reports of your database entries, you can use the MP3 DataBase Report Printer.
