Anonymous P2p

After reading all of the post's about P2P and anonimity, it would be interesting to know what other people are doing to keep thier info anonymous. I was originally a beta tester at ANONIP before they had issues with thier providers dumping them because they cloaked a users identy. I was getting ready to signup for thier service now that they have the ISP issue resoved, but I wanted to know what the other options are ... ANONIP worked with everything I tested. What are the members of this forum using, or should I stick with my current track.

I use ProtoWall and The Blocklist Manager to import the newest blacklist of IP's to keep away from the RIAA and other organizations. I also use Sygate Personal Firewall where if someone were trying to attack me, it would block the attacks, and try to keep my information private.

There is no way you can block the organizations 100% but their are measures you can take to help protect yourself like above..

Basically this ANONYMITY provider can also be forced to hand out information about the clients he is "hosting" but i guess he will take some measures not to keep any valuable information (would be wise at least).
I think really secure sharing is made by good software not by trusted companies.
Of course that takes some deal of speed. That kind of proxy-style security is still the fastest way i guess.

My personal favorite is GNUnet. It still beta but after reading its really detailed documentation i was convinced that it gives me the best privacy.

Before i used Gnutella a long time. And maybe i will stick with it and at the same time go for some security another way. To get the speed of simple networks if possible and the security of another if needed.

Since there have been question like "which one is best?" and "which one is most secure?" i thought a discussion of attacking possibilities on a distributed network structure might be of interest. After all many programs are very different and i am not familiar with too many of them.

just run bluetacks blocklist manager integrated into peerguardian or photowall. Another suggestion would be to get anonx @ anonx.com. Search the forum about anonx. You should find most of your answers around here or in thier forum.
